I'm wishing all the best to Dr. Sheikh Muszaphar for his big opportunities to go to the world space via Soyuz TMA-11 (Russian Rocket) today on 10 October 2007 tonite. All Malaysian pray to God hope you can go & back safely. It's the long journey & built-up your strongness in that space. Not all people in this world got this opportunities. I'm hoping he will show our Malaysian flag at ISS (picture attached at this post) & be proud to be Malaysian.
This is the first step our country to accommodate our people in space. Hopefully, there will be more & more in future to ensure we got as many astronaut (angkasawan) as we can. Insya Allah. Our government should offer this type of course or training centre with the same syllabus related to ensure we won't lack any people specialize in this field. What I'd review before this, almost 11,000 candidates apply & join this opportunities since 2003 & it is the clue to government, which most of Malaysians want to participate this field & proud to represent Malaysia.
Imagine, if we want to send our own NEW satellite MEASAT#, we hope one of them MUST allocate MALAYSIAN ANGKASAWAN. The person related must be alert on each aspect of skills such as ENGINEERING, SCIENCE & SPACE TECHNOLOGY.
